2019 NEW ‘FREE THE RIDE CAMP’ – ST FOY
COURSE DATE: 05/01/19 – 12/01/19 PRICE: £2195.00 GROUP SIZE: 1 Space
For this coming winter I am very excited to be adding two new 6 day ‘Free the Ride’ Snowboard Camps in the small resort, with a big reputation, St Foy.
The ‘Free the Ride’ Camps are all about sharing the vibe, sharing the stoke and exploring your passion and understanding of Snowboarding both on and off the mountain.
The original relaxed and friendly ‘McNab Snowboard Camps’ vibe, with a contemporary and ambitious vision, combining luxury accommodation, good food, chilled vibes, new ideas, technical tuition, terrain analysis, Snowboard chat, board maintenance, Backcountry safety, Speed line and Flow, morning and post ride stretching, great laughs, big grins, fun times and above all else 6 days of Shredding, Shredding, Shredding.
Known by those in the know, as an Off Piste powder mecca but without the crowds that usually come with a title like this, St Foy boasts 1000m vertical of both pistes and non pisted terrain to play on.
The Slackcountry riding accessed with short hikes from the top of the resort is legendary and with bigger cousins, Tignes, Val d’sere, Les Arcs and la Rossiere all within striking distance the terrain on offer is immense.
These Camps will focus on ‘the fine art of riding mountains’, exploring and developing your own personal Freeriding techniques, whilst at the same time exploring the amazing potential that St Foy and the surrounding areas have to offer.
Whilst for the most part the riding will be either lift accessed or a short hike on foot, we will, as always, have the option of Splitboarding at our disposal for if we want to trek further afield.
Full board accommodation will be hosted in the luxury Chalet ‘White Fox’ where you have the option of joining me for morning Yoga and evening stretching if interested.
Arrival date at Chalet Fox, St Foy.
Our Pyrenees Slackcountry course caters for Experienced Snowboarders. A good fitness level and a minimum of 5 to 6 weeks riding experience is recommended.
